The July 4 Independence Day celebration started out bright and sunny with very light winds. As the day progressed, with the wind out of the north east, the sky got darker and darker. Everyone was having a great time chasing the bubbles, but it was getting harder to see!

Smoke from the Wyoming forest fires darkens the sky over Firestone, CO and Independence Day celebrations across the state. The solar powered Bubble Tower (with battery back up ) was a real hit at the Firestone, Brighton, Lakewood, Copper Mountain, Castle Rock, Commerce City and Parker celebrations.

Not just in Commerce City, but in Brighton, Firestone, Parker and Castle Rock where we presented our solar powered Bubble Tower at community Independence Day celebrations across Colorado. Good thing the world’s biggest bubble toy !℠ has a battery back up!

We set the Bubble Tower on the soccer fields at Dick’s Sporting Goods stadium. The bubbles seemed to like the synthetic turf as much as the kids loved the bubbles!

Our new Patriotic Bubble Tower got a real workout July 3rd at Keystone. This red, white, and blue Bubble Tower featured recycled table cloths from the rental linen industry. Using the discarded table cloths cut our purchase of new material by two thirds. I really like the bright colors AND we get to keep some polyesters from languishing in a landfill !

Other events to feature the Bubble Tower this weekend include the Meadows in Castle Rock, as well as celebrations in Parker and Copper Mountain. The Commerce City celebration featured Uncle Sam, our mini Bubble Tower and a stilt party.
