Our last day in Anchorage, exhausted, hardly any sleep for days, decide to take the bus to the airport.
Two mop headed boys, maybe 12 years old, get on the bus with their skateboards. After some distraction, I look up, and one of them has taken a yard or so of YELLOW CAUTION TAPE and tied it around his head in a Rambo style headband!
That was so RIGHT and simultaneously, SO WRONG, I about fell outta my seat laughing.
“HELMET! I don’t need no stinking helmet! I have CAUTION TAPE!”
“Warning! Warning! Adolescent male child ! Caution! Caution!”
Takeaway: Never take the taxi when you can take the bus . . . MUCH more entertaining! And a lot cheaper!
